John Merritt Homes is a family-owned business incorporated in 1999. That same year the Merritt family moved from the Houston area to the Hill Country and settled in Fair Oaks Ranch. JMH has built an average of six homes a year with Fair Oaks Ranch being our hub of activity. By focusing on Fair Oaks Ranch for the past nine years, we have built more homes there than any other builder. We operate out of our home to maintain low overhead for savings which we pass on to our Clients.
We will continue this leadership with the newest unit of Fair Oaks, Stone Creek Ranch, where we are a Preferred Builder. John Merritt Homes is a featured builder in the March 19 – April 5, 2009 Stone Creek Ranch Homes of Distinction Tour. We are also active in the Menger Springs Subdivision of Boerne.
JMH is a Registered Builder with the Texas Residential Construction Commission and is an Energy Star Builder as designated by the US Department of Energy. We are members of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association, the Texas Association of Builders and the National Home Builders Association. Our homes incorporate green building techniques addressing lot design and preparation, resource efficiency, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
