John Merritt Homes is a family-owned business incorporated in 1999. That same year the Merritt family moved from the Houston area to the Hill Country and settled in Fair Oaks Ranch. JMH has built an average of six homes a year with Fair Oaks Ranch being our hub of activity. By focusing on Fair Oaks Ranch for the past nine years, we have built more homes there than any other builder.
We are continuing this leadership as the only Preferred Builder in both of the newest units of Fair Oaks - Stone Creek Ranch and Cibolo Trails. At Stone Creek Ranch we have been a featured builder in both the March 2009 Homes of Distinction Tour and the April 2010 Street of Dreams.
JMH is an Energy Star Builder as designated by the US Department of Energy. We are members of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association, the Texas Association of Builders and the National Home Builders Association. Our homes incorporate green building techniques addressing lot development optimization, resource efficiency, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
